A Little Bit About Myself

I learned about programming and ftp long before any of us had ever heard of the internet or HTML. I was always into technology and used to run a BBS for customer support (for those that remember what that is.)
When my wife became a Realtor in 2007 she asked me to build her a website so I learned HTML. I had my hosting through a reseller who was also a blogging coach. I was dealing with some hosting problems when I was laid off from my job so I told the coach I needed a job and she told me she would pay me to help her recruit new clients.
Naturally I had to attend her coaching to learn what I was recruiting people into so I learned about blogging. What I didn’t learn was how to make money with it.
Through her coaching program I ended up studying under someone else who was copying several other “gurus” but wasn’t making any money. What I did learn from her was that there were a lot of people who wanted to be internet marketers but didn’t have the slightest idea how to accomplish the technical part that comes so easy to me.
I decided that I would use my technical skills to help people overcome their challenges in building an online business. I believe in the Zig Ziglar quote “You will get all you want in life if you help enough other people get what they want. ”
The first real money started coming in when I started using ad swaps to build a list. I was also building squeeze pages and back end offers for other people doing ad swaps.
After a while i lost interest in having to deal with so many scammy marketers and their brothers and wives and cousins who knew nothing but jumped on the adswap train when they saw how easy it was to make money selling worthless junk to ignorant newbies. It didn’t matter to them what kind of reputation they got because there were always more people entering the game. It mattered to me, though.
So then I was looking for other ways to find people who need help with their technical issues when I stumbled across Sweeva. I had seen a few TEs before that but they didn’t hold my interest long. Sweeva showed me that TEs could be interesting and even addicting and I went on to several other TEs from that point. I found the social interaction in many TEs was good for me to brand myself and find people I could help to build their online businesses. TEs also inspired my latest project called “Not Playing Around” to help people accomplish more in whatever online business they choose.

5 Ways To Achieve All Your Goals Successfully

Why do a number of people seem to succeed in all they do, but others flounder along at the rear? Mostly it’s because the successful people have set goals and take steps to efficiently achieve them. So how do they always seem to achieve their goals?

Allow me to share five strategies they use:

1. Start with a long-term goal, write it down, taking into account when you are going to achieve the goal and why it’s important. Try and be as visual as possible, explaining how the achievement of this goal will change your life for the better. Once this long-term goal has been documented, break the goal into tangible steps that need to be taken to achieve the goal.

2. Make certain that you really want the goal. Ask yourself, “Do I really want this goal? Will this goal give me a better life?” Answering these questions will give you more drive to achieve your goal.

3. Speak up. You should not keep your goals to yourself. Sharing your goals can help you get the support you may need from others. Some individuals are concerned with telling others about their goals because they are worried they will fail. However, telling others means that you are more likely to achieve your goals either with their support or in-spite of them.

4. Write down your goals. This strategy is advisable for those who have a long list of goals. After writing them down, review them regularly. You may also want to keep them handy to keep you motivated.

You have to discipline yourself to stick to what you have written. Do not just write them and tuck them away somewhere ‘safe’. Its better to keep them where you will see them, try sticking them to the refrigerator.

5. Stay on track and do not give up. Reviewing your goals will help open your mind to see if you are on the right track. While on track, you may have to face challenges that might change the way you see yourself.

Never be discouraged. Encountering obstacles is just a test for how dedicated one is to achieve the goals you’ve set. It will all boil down to you preparing yourself to face anything and doing everything to get to the goal that you have set for yourself. Only you can make it happen. Nothing can stop you if you have set your mind to it and commit to taking action.
